Before and After Photos
Ultrasound technology is a non-surgical, completely non-invasive treatment that uses your body’s own naturally produced healing process to trigger collagen production. Collagen is essential in skin health, but depletes as we age. The new collagen produced by HIFU lifts, tones, and tightens facial skin on the face, improving the appearance of wrinkles, and balancing skin tone. The only type of cosmetic beauty procedure that harnesses the power of ultrasound imaging, to look deep within the skin to ensure the correct areas and depths are being targeted.
Gravity, aging, and the environment all affect our aging process and can leave our skin looking dull, lifeless, and older than it should. HIFU combats all the factors that make us look older than we should. HIFU can lift and tone the brow area, as well as the neck and chin areas for a renewed and refreshed look.
Because HIFU works deep within the skin, patients can expect to see results improve over time. Over the months following a treatment new collagen is produced, replacing older, degraded collagen. As this process continues patients will enjoy their younger, brighter complexion for as much as 9 months. After 12 months, follow-up treatments and touch-ups are recommended to keep the level of collagen consistent. HIFU can be used in conjunction with Skin Tightening, Fractional Laser, Cosmetic Injectables, Plasma Fibroblast, Microneedling, and BodiSculpting to specifically address more superficial layers.

What is Collagen?
Collagen keeps skin firm and full, and is responsible for youthfulness and skin health. Collagen is a naturally-occurring protein made by the body, however, as we age collagen begins to degrade and production is reduced and skin begins to sag and pull downward. The ultrasound technology used in treatment generates thermal energy underneath the skin, which stimulates the body’s natural repair process. Part of this process is the production of new, fresh collagen.
How many treatments are recommended?
Most patients need just one treatment and some patients benefit from more than one. This depends on their body’s biological response to ultrasound and how your body naturally builds collagen.
Does it hurt?
It triggers collagen production deep within the skin, as the ultrasound waves pass deeply into the skin there may be some slight discomfort, rest assured that this is actually a good sign because it indicates that the treatment is working. Aditionally, the technology is constantly being updated and enhanced, most recently a software upgrade.
How long do the results last?
People who receive the treatment can expect to see the results of fresh, new collagen for as much as a 12 months following the procedure. However, skin continues to age, so touch-ups and future follow-up appointments are recommended to help keep up with the skin’s natural aging process. The speed at which this aging process takes place varies with each individual patient.
What are the side effects?
Slight redness may occur for an hour or so after the treatment takes place. A small percentage of people experience minor swelling, tingling or pain to the touch, but these side effects are mild and temporary.*
